My first money league draft tonight

10 team IDP, 2 man keeper (lose first two rounds on draft day for the keeps). Standard scoring-yahoo
Last year was the league's first year in business, and I scored Foster at #1, and AP at #20..so naturally they were my keepers this year--BTW, last year finished 14-2, lost the title game by ONE FREAKIN point!!
Dumbest draft mistake= some idiot kept Danny Amendola for a second round pick!

As to questions that I know a certain few will ask about the draft...
Kaeps was the 10th QB taken and went in round 6
V.D. was the SECOND TE taken, also in round 6
Lamar Miller was the 24th RB taken and in Rd 11
Giovani Bernard was the 1st rookie RB to go, Rd 13
Tavon Austin was the 1st rook WR to go, Rd 14.
And in a draft with nine other die hard Denver Bronco fans, Knowshon Moreno, was a no show on draft day...even Von miller went in the 13th, and he's suspended for six weeks!

BTW..since the Yahoo grading system was a topic of discussion a bit back...they graded this draft an A..one other team got a B= all others were C's, except one, who got a C-

You'd think the league would vote no so you can't have AP and Foster, but oh well.

Overall I like it. You know my thoughts on DMC, I'd of much rather seen you wait and grab Ben Tate with Foster in your lineup. I love Vereen though. One pick that really surprised me was you taking Jordy Nelson in the 4th round. I know he's a solid WR, but anyone who has in-camp knee surgery is a big ? for me, especially that early. Then again, it doesn't even matter because you scored frickin AJ Green, which astonishes me. Your 1-3 is unbelievable.

clearly with AD and foster you are going to have a great season, but my only problem with your team is that behind AJ green you dont have great WRs and you dont have much sleeper potential or depth at WR on your bench... I know we have been on opposite sides on vereen, but on this particular team you are never going to start him... I would trade him for dobson straight up(picked dobson because that was an earlier thread discussion)... Maybe also take a downgrade on mcfadden to improve your WR situation... Again, you are set to be a top team because of foster and peterson, but why not improve your team where you can??

I had to laugh though that you kept Foster. I mean, you have to. But with all of your preseason rants about his mileage possibly affecting his durability, I had to chuckle.

No, that's my own league, which is a bit more "big money", and since we keep it very limited to only people we know will be active all year long, and that we can all get together and have a good time. .we keep it to an 8 man league, so I never bother posting those rosters. .. Every team is stacked.

I know right?? But for a 2nd round pick?? Had to! My other option would've been DTHOMAS, but I'm far too much of a RB RB guy to pass it up.. even if I am down on Foster.
