Before yesterday and the loss to the Raiders, I was absolutely sure we would lose to the Stillers. But now I believe we will win in Pittsburgh this Sunday. So far this year we have played up to, or down to, the level of our competition. After yesterday I think there are some embarrassed and angry players that will be focused this coming week.

It won't be easy, Ben and the O are really playing well so the D front will need to get after him, which is never an easy thing. But I think Os can have some success and we prevail 27-21.

So there, @Mingo - I beat you to the optimism this week!

I can see it and honestly I am never surprised by anything that happens in the NFL anymore. But this is a game I picked for a loss before the season and given what we've seen from our team, barring the offense have a players-only come to Jesus meeting, I think it's highly optimistic to expect a win.

The offense is going to have to generate 20+ points to win this one ( Pitt). As good as that D is playing, Pitt will get some points. Just to much firepower to expect our D to hold them under 20. If Denver continues their current 3 and out trend on offense......Rut Row.

I will not take anything away from the Steelers, however, let's look at their victories:

Their wins have comes vs the 49ers , the Rams, the Chargers, the Cards, Raiders, Browns, Colts and Bengals ...

They lost at home to the Ravens, Pats and Bengals, in addition to road losses at Seattle and KC

By no means is this easy win for them, but they have scored a lot of points lately ...... The D, as usual, must keep us in the game, and McManus and Colquitt must bring their A game

I agree. The only good thing about losing to the Raiders is it increases the chance of beating the Steelers. They'll be very motivated to bounce back after sunday's debacle!
