Well, IMO...

1. No, Haskins was the correct way to go. My opinion of Lock and Rosen hasn't changed. Lock should have gone undrafted and in case all of what I've posted hasn't made a dent about Rosen consider this, How many QB's in history with the first name "Josh" have ever been successful? (I know, cheesy, sorry!)

2. Depends on health and how aggressively they are allowed to play within the scheme.

3. Probably

4. A hungry young player, in a quest to prove himself. I don't think that his game has suffered much because of the injury, so if he's healthy and completely ready to go, we get what we thought before the injury.

5. If he can't then his career is over. I believe that the Alabama connections are the ONLY reason why they decided to take the risk. If they can't help him, he's done!

6. No... 7-9, 8-8 and 9-7 is their Bailiwick!

7. No, this is a good fit for him, he just shouldn't be asked to be the one carrying the load again.

8. If Haskins rides the bench and only functions as the ICE guy then YES!

9. I honestly don't know about Hopkins!

10. Injury free? then I believe that he gives us just enough to consider signing him to a new contract. It's his true "prove it" year and I'm betting that we see more than ever before. Will it be enough...

12. Yes until about mid-season, after that, more opposition jerseys than home team ones. 2020 will be a much better season!

13. They go with Nicholson to start.

14. Yes, VD is sometimes hard to get rid of!

15. DRC is here for that one last payday. This will become obvious in camp.

16. Yes and No, with Keenum (Kirk... .. they know this is me F'ing with them) there will be more turnovers than with Alex, there will also be more scoring.

17. Yes, movement is generally better as it creates mismatches and adds a dynamic signature to an offense that's lacked it in prior years.

They should try to figure out Haskins right away. He has a ton of flaws and would not have been a 1st round pick in more typical years. This draft class overall was just so weak that it vaulted him up to 15 or whatever.

If he sucks they should not lock themselves out of a much better 2020 and 2021 qb group just because they invested a 1st rounder in an overall extremely weak draft class

With existing talent and the addition of Collins and Sweat they could be near that. They have to play the run well and increased pressure could do the trick.

I think they might look for a safety depending on the cap. Smith's impact on the cap is hurting big time.

Again that is what camp and OTAs are for. If DRC is only here for a check then he is likely not here for good if the young guns are equal to and of course if they are better.

It is hard to replace 4,000 yards and 25+ TDS per year.

17. Does Kevin O'Connell's promotion jump start the offense?
Health, better QB play and some halfway decent WRs will jump start the offense.

There is no way to know

One year is not enough to declare him a bust. If Fromm is there I take him no matter what. Well …. a 4,000 yard, 25+ TD season might change my mind about that.

20. If Haskins is a star how does that change your view of Dan, if at all? Wouldn't change my mind one bit. The team has drafted better the past three years or so it seems. Dan is still Dan. I can tell stories about that way before he was the Redskins owner.

If as I suspect Haskins was Dan's pick I don't think they will draft a QB No. 1 anytime soon. I would be looking for someone in rounds 3-5 that might help the team. Who knows what the plans are for Keenum and McCoy so they will need some sort of backup QB in a year or two.

As far as the defense goes. I think we have a legitimate chance to be top 10.

Alex not turning it over helped the d a bunch. That will be missed. AP grinding out yards and controlling the clock was big.

Now everyone talks about how the defense fell off. Yeah losing Smith hurt the D. I've heard how the front three tired and weren't rotated enough early.

To me, the defense fell apart when Dunbar went down. I was wrong on him. Dunbar was huge for that side of the ball last year. We need him to be right the year.
