Aztecs playing better in MWC play but only 2 games in. Still think they need to win the Mountain West tourney to get into the big dance.

Agree. My CSU Rams can beat Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls and then lose to Northern Colorado....

I think they'll be good in this conference though.

We better make it about 15-0 to keep pace for an At-Large bid the way this conference has been, basically almost any loss in this league is a bad one this year

I think they'll be good in this conference though.

Northern Iowa is a weird team in general, they've beaten two top teams, yet have also lost to some awful teams like Missouri State this year.

Colorado State does look like they will be towards the top of the league though, they're a team who could have build an At-Large resume as the season went on if the league was better.

Basically any home loss in conference is going to greatly hurt your RPI numbers.

I honestly don't see any scenario in which this conference gets more than 1 team in the tournament. Only team with a realistic shot is Boise State, but even they project out to finish 19-10, with an RPI of 71, which obviously wouldn't be good enough.

He went to the tourney the first two years, then nothing since. I dont think the players respect him. Going 0-3 in conference was it. Everyone knew if UNLV didnt make the NCAA tourney this year he was gone.

One and done's in those tournaments too, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't, goes in line with what happened.

When Lon Kruger was here, he recruited only 4 year guys, and was one and done, but he got the most out of his players. Rice had all the talent in the world, and got nothing out of them. Polar opposites, and frustrating as hell for the fans.

Read that yesterday of Rice getting the boot, I saw them starting the season strong and thought they could make the tourney even without winning the conf tourney, but then read they were 9-7. Very surprising, should be better.

Aztecs and Boise off to good conf starts and the Rebels not so much. It sucks how disappointing the MWC has been, thought all 3 of those teams could make the tourney.

Same here, and I thought all 3 would comfortably make it in too, there was early hope for Colorado State also.

We need New Mexico and UNLV to get back to being good again, the MWC isn't the same without those teams being good, UNLV is the big name and New Mexico probably has the best home court advantage of the conference.

In all reality this is a big game, a must win for Boise State I feel like if we want an At-Large bid, we can't afford any home losses.
