So we are 4-4-1 so far. Looked good in a few and bad in a few. So who is the MVP so far this season? I think Briere has played the best, but Kimmo has looked really good also. Suprised to see he has 0 points and is a -3. Giroux is going to be all world, but is he there yet? Bob had some amazing saves last night but still needs better positioning. Lightning quick from side to side. At this point I am going with Briere.

Interesting 3 choices. I have been pretty high on Kimmo and was very suprised to see his stats or lack there of. I think he is playing really well so far. (and I also agree on Hartnell)

After you brought up yesterday how you thought Kimmo was playing really well i looked at his stats they werent so impressive but you guys get to see the games all the time so i thought you saw something that i couldnt see by looking at stats.

briere without a doubt.
and second is probably a tie between kimmo and giroux.
but lets not forget leino and hartnell have been playing very well.
also..i think a player who has been severly underappreciated in the early going is darrol powe. with the amount of penalties we've taken powe has done an admirable job on the PK and brings his speed and energy every game and finishes all his checks, and he even has a few goals to show for it. i really think he contributes a lot to the team

He's not a team MVP candidate, but I've been impressed with Mez's play so far. I think he's been our most consistent d-man through 9 games.

Kimmos stats are deceiving. He has played the best out of the D Men in my opinion. Just bad luck to be out there when theres a goal. Is +/- wil bounce back after a few more games

Briere but Giroux's skill level > anything we've ever seen in the orange and black, including Forsberg.

Powe has been the one taking most of the penalties. 8 PIM in the last 3 games.

I voted other. The defense is what's kept us in the games despite offensive no shows on a nightly basis, and the best among them has not been Timonen. It's been Coburn.

I would go with brier...if it wasnt for his stupid penalties...mostly lazy not moving his feet, but want argue offensively he is doing what we all hoped...that said...giroux to me game in and out is the best Flyer...
