2-2 and 1-1 in the Div with games against Arizona, Tenn and Jax coming up. That should be 4 wins right there, if the 49ers can get this win Thursday should be 5-3 or 6-2 going into the bye week depending on what Houston team shows up in 2 weeks.

Unless Harbaugh puts his ego aside and lets Gore run the ball the 49ers will not win. Until the 49ers get their injured players back they need to let Gore and Hunter carry the load and have Kaepernick in a support role.

After going to this game the last 4 years I am scared, I know we always play like shit against the Rams or the Rams play way better then they actually are. Short week, and traveling there it isn't looking good. Especially without Willis and Aldon. Hopefully Vernon is back because we need him.

I hoped for 3-1, though 2-2, and feared 1-3, but part of that was injuries. Didn't think 4-0 was possible but also did not specifically guess which team(s) we'd lose to. I guess in groups.

I disagree. In the playoffs anything can happen. But I do think that one loss would hurt our expectations of division win. The higher expectations you have, the more opportunities you can settle for before hitting bottom. Yes, denial and rationalization is the method of coping for me.

I see a lot of three and outs for the 49ers and sustained drives for the Rams against our depleted defense. I have this as another 4th quarter blow out: 27-6 Rams.

I dont think they can put up that many points, their offense is not that good. If they score on defense/ST, then maybe...

I'm not ready to jump off the bridge yet. I had the 49ers going 2-2 in their first 4 games (losses coming at Seattle and at St. Louis). If they win Thursday, I can accept the loss to the Colts.

After watching the post game news conference I am not coming away with any more confidence for this thur night game. Kap looks defeated and Harbaugh looks like a shell of his former self I mean he's not even being a dick to the media anymore, Add to that all the injury's and locker room turmoil and well I just dont see this team bouncing back. I hope I am wrong though.

Well we will see what kind of Coach harbaugh is. Can he get the guys ready to bounce back or will we play Avg and wait till next year to compete.
