I just smash the shit out of it with a big knife, then mince. (I hate washing presses, tho that is one of the cooler ones I've seen)

I use my stainless steel sink to rub the smell off. That shit works, and is a great tip.

Don't tell these people that you've outsmarted them! :suds:

The stainless steel actually neutralizes the garlic odor on your fingers as you hand wash it. Bada bing

(Stainless-steel binds with sulfuric ingredients to lift odors)

Yeah, you can also give your faucet a hand-gibber to get rid of the garlic and onion smell :)

we keep those on the boat, especially during shrimping season. They are great for getting that fish smell or shrimp smell off of your hands. I remember the first time my brother broke it out and I laughed at him. Then washed my hands with it and had him get me one. Those are awesome.

Mounts on wall and holds paper towels, tinfoil and plastic wrap. It's awesome.

You can use any stainless steel knife to get the smells of your hands by running water over the knife and running your hands thru the water rolling off the knife. Lemon juice also helps.

saw a few already but the Kitchen Aid is awesome, got a vitamix (both not cheap).

A good pepper mill and freeze your peppercorns to keep them fresh.
Finally nothing like a burr coffee grinder makes the grinder more consistent.

I always use one of these when draining my tuna because it gets all the water out.

A Jaccard is nice to use on cheaper cuts of meat. Just be sure not to over do it or your meat will lose its consistency.
