I think one of the last things I talked about on here when I posted a couple years back was that Kelenic looked like an actual athlete when we drafted him. The roster was full of pipsqueaks, fatties, and turds with zero work ethic riding out their fat contracts thanks to the signing, drafting, and trading prowess of Shitpoto and Nintendo lite prior to that.

I'm just familiarizing myself with this roster after not paying any attention the past 2 years, and Kelenic is def a potential bright spot after having a rough start to his pro career. Hoping they can get those 6 more outs and get the W today. How's the bullpen?

I always like looking back at the teams we just played. Twins scored 2 runs vs Dodgers in their two game series. I guess the Dodgers figured them out.

And their great picture gave up 14 runs in those 2 games.

Thanks, NW. I'm making it a point to curb my negativity. I've been following all things not the M's for the past couple of years with my MLB subscription, but I"m back to Mariners land for a little while at least. Got a free trail of fubo so I'll give it a month before deciding if I want to hook up my pc to my tv and run a vpn for M's games after that.

JK laid off a close pitch 1-0 and it was correctly called a ball. Weird how he then went deep on the 2-0 pitch. Almost like having a good eye can pay off when the strike zone is called correctly.

Also, Julio has been rung up on 2 pitches clearly off the plate, and he doesn't act upset when he strikes out, so spare me the "umps just don't like Kelenic" bullshit.

Because he throws a temper tantrum every time he strikes out.

I don't believe that theory, really, but figured I'd give you a bit of context.

Feel like I've seen that way too many times with Julio.

A substantial number of his strikeouts were bullshit. I guess the bright side is that he hasn't started swinging at those pitches outside the zone.

The M's didn't draft Kelenic the Mets did!
He was part of a trade that ended with him in Seattle
