I agree

Something about Sewald just does not sit well with me.

He is VERY hittable, falls behind in the count alot and obvious is prone to walking hitters.

None of those are a desirable quality in a closer.

Good win against a good CLE team. We will take the series and look to sweep them tomorrow.

Nice to see Suarez stay hot and Kelenic had a good game at the plate.

I'm glad Marco made it past 4 innings today

He will have the occasionally really good game like he had today.

He only seems to do it about 1 of every 4 starts. There in lies the problem with him.

Agreed. Seems like the most effective closers are the ones with a nasty fastball that come in late in the game fresh and throw batters (no pun intended) off their guard with a massive speed difference as the game goes on.

I 100% appreciate the off speed stuff and pitch repertoire, but not sure it works that great for a closer. Course my baseball knowledge is limited so if someone here can educate me a bit more I'm all for it lol.

I've never been to a Rainiers game and I'm planning on doing a weekend trip down there and just booking a hotel at EQC.

How does one purchase the premium tickets? I.e. when you look at the Cheney Stadium map, it's the sections 1-8, or even 109-119. Every game I've looked at there's no availability, even on the re-sale sites. Are they actually just that difficult to get or is there some sort of trick to getting them?

Are you trying to get a suite or just seats close to the field? If you just want tickets you might want to try one of those third party venues. They have a crap load of season ticket holders that don’t go to every game and put them online. The available suites can be rented out but it is pricey but if you split it with friends it’s worth it.

I also wouldn’t recommend sitting behind home plate, the net bugs me. I’d recommend the third baseline on a Thursday, they call it Thirsty Thursday where they have cheap beer and hot dogs plus there really isn’t a bad seat in the house, I just don’t like the net. I’d stay away from the 1B side because they have a children’s park that gets annoying as hell.
