And yes, they still have the most strikeouts with 27 more than the A's at this point.

Here's how bad it is: There aren't many teams left that have pure DH's. Of those, Garver is far and away the worst with a .174 on 206 AB's.
When you do the more complete looking at team stats for anyone who hits as a DH the M's are at .226 on 261 AB's. And this is 11 from the bottom in MLB.

This means you can literally put any other player on the team in for any AB at DH and raise the average substantially!

My prediction before the game in my head was 6-1 win. We surpassed that thank goodness.

And I am not a believer in having rookies up and not playing. Locklear should be playing or sent down to play IMO.

And Bliss really wants to stay up with Polanco almost ready. What a series.

Bliss has been on a tear the last few games. Probably time for him to sit to make sure Moore gets his ab's for the long haul.


Looking more and more like Gilbert is the true ace of this staff.
