Ya, I like the fact this is the 5th hitting coach GMZ has hired since 2009. No wonder our hitters are so screwed up...plus the fact they aren't very good at hitting in the first place.

The game of musical hitting coaches has been going on since the days of Piniella and Gillick. We really haven't had a steady hitting coach since Elia. They haven't been able to establish a consistent hitting philosophy because they change coaches too often. Now, it takes more than just that to be as bad as the M's have been at hitting, but it has to be considered a pretty big factor.
