I haven't watched it yet but am going to watch the 1st inning right now. So what I saw in the box score is that the guy that was removed from his last start due to arm fatigue only goes .3 of an inning? Bad coaching or bad trainers?

Kyle Lewis leaves an RBI on 3rd with 1 out in the 1st isn't going to cut it from the cleanup hitter. It is still early with him, but him dramatic decline the last few weeks last year have to start being a concern at some point if he doesn't turn it around soon.

Okay now that I watched the 1t inning Margevicius had no business pitching. How did management and/or training staff not now this? This was a give away game. There is nothing on his pitches (less than normal). Shameful of Servais.

The M's might have had a shot at this game if Servais had got off is ASS and pulled Marge.... right away knowing damn well he was showing absolutely no control. Instead 4 runs score as he stood there and watched it happen. How deflating to the rest of the "young" team. Our offense basically went to sleep after the first inning with no one getting more than one hit. I think Servais wants to see pitchers work themselves out of jams. You don't do that in the Majors....you shouldn't coddle along or "groom" pitchers in the MLB, that's what you do in "high A", "double A" and "triple A". By the time pitchers get to the bigs, they either perform or they get relieved IMO. Kudos to Newsom, he did a hell of a nice job throwing 4 hitless innings against the Sox. :thumb:

yeah..you mean..they got demoralized...and i think..that is true..or was true..for a couple innings..till they snapped..out of it..but..also..they did not have any..late inning...heroics....to defeat...the demoralization..and ..you could just..feel ..it..lol

They had no business pitching him. You tell me he was fine in his bullpen session between starts but had nothing on his pitches the game before and this game? No way.

Overall a split is just fine. However it was clear Marge was not fit to start this game so it would have been nice if he didn’t.

whatever..is wrong..with..Nick Margevicius 52...it is not..nothing...so...

yeah..ya have to go with Ljay Newsome 74..yeah..i guess so..but..i would still rather..keep him as long guy..out of the pen
but .say they go newsome as #6
ok..who is your long guy
and the guy should be on the 40 man already..cuz i dont think they really want to get into..a situation..where they would have
to DFA..guys..or send them down...for example..if they put Cody Anderson60..who is at tacoma..on the 40 man
then whenNick Margevicius 52..came back..they would have to DFA..him

so the guys on the 40 man that ...could..long relief.
Robert Dugger 30 MINORS
Erik Swanson 50 MINORS
Brandon Brennan 60 MINORS

that is some guys..not tons...and im not sure..on any of these guys

I looked it up. In his last 25 games he is 13 for 87 (.149) with 3 HRs, 2 Doubles, & 7 RBI.

I don’t know about you guys.... but a split from the last 2 series against probably 2 most potent teams in the MLB was a huge success for me.

play on!

Crazy to think that we've only lost 1 series this year... Also, we've had the toughest schedule through the season so far, which is even a great testament to our play...

I was thinking given the schedule and the uncertainty regarding the player progression that finishing April a couple games under .500 wouldnt be that bad. Turns out they just need one more win for a winning April. Pretty solid and you would think they should only play better given there's a lot of spots in the lineup not producing yet.

Yeah, it's nice to know that as much improvement there is to see in guys like White, Trammell, JP, Moore, Lewis, and Marco to just get closer to league average production, we're still playing well enough overall to split or win series from quality teams right now.

The bullpen and the defense have been carrying a lot of the weight the first few weeks, and we can expect the pen to revert toward the mean, but we should also expect those listed above to raise their game going forward.

although Seager's average isn't that great now, just heard he was hitting .600 with RISP? Did I hear that right? If so, Dang!
