All I can say is that Dome is a joke that major league teams have to play at.

Good team for years, low fan turnout forever, horribly outdated stadium. I wonder how long until we hear rumblings of the Rays relocating. Most likely a new stadium, but we know how those negotiations can go. See Oakland A's/Raiders and Buffalo Bills.

Just can’t believe they were going to take a team out of the Kingdome to go to this in Tampa.

I don’t know how it is now but back in the day Tampa was where older people went to retire and get away from taxes. Unless the demo has changed I highly doubt they would vote for a tax increase. And problem with baseball is there realistically isn’t any new markets for them to leverage IMO.
