It seems Dan is making a lot what people are calling mistakes. I havent paid a lot attention to the big club but a few podcasts are talking about how he should be let go. Has he really been that bad?

He is Scott Servais Jr so what do people expect from him? Yes he has made mistakes. Puzzling before the result happens type mistakes. Then last night they had the odd play where he went out to the mound for Santos and Speier ran all the way in to near the SS then was told to go back and they stuck with Santos. Santos did his job but Moore screwed it up, but it was just a bad look. No organization. Players keep making little league mistakes. Reflection of a manager. They look lax at times. Reflection of the manager. I have not been impressed.

Victor Robles is out 12 weeks......So what's the plan now?

Use him as their main trade deadline addition and sell it to the fans as such.

To be fair, runners in scoring position is an unjust stat for Mariners. Realistically there are no actual runners in scoring position when Mariners play. Not when on 2B. Not when on 3B.

Had they really gone for it and picked up a few major league hitters they would have hit the playoffs and likely won more than one series in it.

Getting there alone isn't good enough.
