Glad they decided to not play the doubleheader. Better to have it later when potentially iwakuma and walker are both available. Looks like they won't need a fifth starter now until April 16 with young getting skipped.

Not sure if I should be proud that we are now 3 games over .500, or embarrassed that it has been that long since we were last 3 over .500.

Good start though. The team has looked really solid so far, if not for the blown calls the other night we wouldn't have a loss yet.

It's easy to say that after the fact, but the ace of your staff generally gets the benefit of the doubt. If Felix still felt good, I have no problem with McClendon sending him back out there for the 9th.

True. I just felt like when you give Rodney the money the Mariners did, it makes sense to send him out there. Doesn't hurt to pull Felix at 90 or so pitches, keeping him a bit more fresh for the next game.
