Lloyd is infuriating! Confidence is low with a three run lead, what about when it's a one run lead? He's guaranteed to give up at least one run every outing, that's not a closer. For a team that is scraping to get wins right now, we can't afford to blow games that we should win in the ninth. Lloyds decision to keep running Rodney out there is just one of many issues I have with his coaching right now.

But see the thing is, over the past 64 opportunities that Rodney has had with the Mariners, he has only blown 4 games. That's right up there with the best in the game.

Paxton has been pitching really well lately. He had a poor start, but he has really picked it up.

That's the problem, is he actually has been clutch in a sense but he's so goddamn frustrating to watch. He's the opposite of the ideal closer but you can't really complain about his results.
