Miller in CF and Ackley sitting vs a righty makes me think Ackley may be the casualty for Jackson. Just me thinking out loud but thrusting Miller out there seems crazy otherwise.

Ya, I thought you mentioned that a few weeks back. Of course we could drop him and if he passes through waivers leave him in Tacoma or if claimed deal him to that team. I don't think we can lose in any of those scenarios.

If your lucky maybe you can swap him for a middle reliever once he's DFAd. I doubt he goes unclaimed either. Either way I think it's for both parties to move on.

He wouldn't claim waivers, but I believe you then have 10 days to trade him to claiming team...but I could be wrong. Sometimes it is addition by subtraction but if you still get a bucket of balls for him then go for it.

I'm assuming that Castillo has some experience with Estrada? That's the only reason I can see him in the lineup.

Yeah he has seen a lot of Estrada. 21 at bats, .286 avg. with 4 homers.
