I'll say this, In all of his at bats Cano has hit the ball hard, so maybe it's a sign?

I hate this infield shift crap... It's almost like intentionally fouling a bad FT shooter... It's one of the contributors for the downward spiral of scoring per game...

I get why they do it but it's frustrating to watch...

I was just reading up on Affeldt and saw where he went to Whitworth U. I told you on a previous thread that I was suppose to play Division 3 basketball but a broken foot ended that. Whitworth was the college my JC coach hooked me up with. Too funny.

Oh yeah... Whitworth is here in Spokane... Great school... Funny thing is that Jeremy was a great bball player too... He wanted to play in college but KC had drafted him in the 3rd round so that obviously changed things...

Could have been a 4 year Eastern Washington (not the school but the geography) kid, but stayed on the West side of the state all my Washington life. Of course this would have been back in '87-'90.

My wife's stepdad is from Spokane. Good ball player back in the day there (he is like 77 now so way back in the day).

Cool... EWU BBALL has had it's ups and downs hopefully Hayford can continue to build upon his recent success...

Rodney Stuckey was a phenominal player at EWU... It was fun watching him play against Adam Morrison and the Zags...

I watched him play a lot at EWU. Was just finishing up my BA and starting my MA when he started playing.
