Who'da thunk that we'd be relying on Montgomery and Walker over the past few weeks to stop the bleeding...
I was just thinking pitchers batting is stupid, and then I realized Walker fits right in this lineup.
WOot! Affeldt... Hope he does well - only because we're up!
Oh yeah... Whitworth is here in Spokane... Great school... Funny thing is that Jeremy was a great bball player too... He wanted to play in college but KC had drafted him in the 3rd round so that obviously changed things...
My girlfriend and I were originally going to play a year at Wenatchee CC, but our car got broken into on our visit so we stayed in our hometown to play. Could have been a 4 year Eastern Washington (not the school but the geography) kid, but stayed on the West side of the state all my Washington life. Of course this would have been back in '87-'90.
My wife's stepdad is from Spokane. Good ball player back in the day there (he is like 77 now so way back in the day).
I watched him play a lot at EWU. Was just finishing up my BA and starting my MA when he started playing.Rodney Stuckey was a phenominal player at EWU... It was fun watching him play against Adam Morrison and the Zags...
