We tired ourselves out vs Orioles. Win 4, lose 3...and counting.

All the good from the Orioles series was undone here. Great job M's!

Sucks to say but losing is probably best now, they are a mediocre team that are 3-4 players away from being a legit contender. Trade away what you can at the deadline

This could be an auto post starting in 2005.

Every time this Mariners team enters a series in our division where it's extremely important to win they fall flat... It's a sign were just not there yet... M's offense is finally good though, but of course now they can't pitch worth a dam...

I just hope they decide one way or the other. This organization has constantly sat on the fence at the deadline. I thought with Felix coming back they could make a run but with Walker out a while now I have a tough time seeing it.

Two tough 1-run losses with one of those being a very good comeback from 5-0 and 7-4 deficits. Still not coming through with runners on 3rd & less than 2 outs, and for at least 1 night the honeymoon was over for Leblanc & Diaz.

And until the team sale is finalized, we WON'T be there. Lincoln must be laughing his ass off, proud of the damage he helped cause. And with about a month or so before he steps down, there's plenty of time to watch more of the downfall he helped create.

Basically, keeping him on board is like tanking a season.

Definitely credit where due, though, to the batting improvement. Hiring Edgar on as batting coach was the best move any of those chuckleheads in the front office ever made, even if it was merely to keep the media off their backs.

I agree.... Lincoln was one of the biggest disasters to ever happen to the Mariners...

The day he steps down, I'd like to see him sent off in fitting fashion: The Moose kicking him square up the ass on the way out!

Who do we have to offer that would net some decent prospects in return? Not sure if this team would move Cruz at this time... Seems like he and Cano are tied at the hip...

Cishek? Lind? Probably wouldn't get much from them... Montgomery hasn't pitched badly... If some team is looking for an arm, he could be a potential trade candidate... Could be one of the reasons he's throwing on Sunday...

Seth Smith may net us a decent prospect w/ the way he's playing... We just don't have much... No one's going to take on Cano's contract... IMO, hang onto Cruz because his presence makes Cano/Seager better hitters so for that reason i'd keep him...

But honestly, the Sonics will probably win a CShip before the Mariners... True story...
