I recall reading a few months ago that Joe Mauer made it into the HOF on his 1st ballot and that he was a #1 overall pick by the Twins back in 2001?
Pretty good for a catcher, eh?..LOL. The induction will be held later this year.
He was elected with Adrian Beltre, and if I remember correctly, Todd Helton?...but I'm pretty sure the latter 2 were not #1 picks overall.
