Hint on the second guy- When I think of him, I associate him with Walt (Clyde) Frazier

In his defense, they threw him into Triple A and rushed him to the majors in like two years.....zero development whatsoever......

That reference is going over my head
“Duke Thomas” was the 6th person to assume the “Robin” monicker in the Batman comics (Molitor and Yount were often called “Batman and Robin”). The first 5 would all have been too obvious, so I avoided using them.

Wow, all these years and I never even considered Robin wasn't his real name. I knew Batman was Bruce Wayne but I guess I just thought Robin was named Robin. You learn something every day

I am well aware.

”Is your beard weird?”

And it isn’t east coast specific.
Ah, I didn't catch the reference. I was just thinking since they're both NY announcers maybe I picked it up on MSG network or something.

What was the question again?
Name the 2 guys with 10 triples, 40 doubles, 100 RBI and a gold glove in the same season. Robin Yount was already guessed correctly so there's one guy left. Lots of hints given on him.
