I think I read in another thread it was your first game, but you're not counting that as "significant" are you?
It was NOT my first game. I was in 8th grade.

The special event had nothing to do with me. But it certainly was thrilling.

I gotta say I looked at the box score and I think I know. Did they sell a Salami sandwich at the ballpark back then?

I don't think this is what you were going for, but I think it might have been Rick Reuschel's 200th win.

Will Clark’s first career Grand Slam. At the time, it was a thing talked about (that he didn’t have one).

Actually it could be another trivia question. He hit that one off of Mike Maddux, then he hit one the same year (playoffs) against his brother, Greg Maddux. How often do two brothers give up a slam to the same guy in the same season? I guess the Niekro brothers, or Perry brothers could have

I think Will might be the only one to hit a slam off brothers in the same season. Although the Niekros were both in the NL west for a while so maybe someone from the Big Red Machine like Foster or Bench did it but it still seems like a long shot.

An easy one in honor of the fallen:

Whose all time stolen base record did Rickey break?

That’s a perty tough question…

Seriously, though…. Holy shit. A world without Rickey is a slightly more boring world.
Shoulda typed “purdy”

The current steals leader, Starling Mate, is 1052 behind Rickey. That's more than anyone in history not named Rickey Henderson

Who was the only player to lead his league in batting, on-base percentage and slugging in the same season in the 1970's?

Good one. They must have won MVP?
