Yes. 1976, 1978, 1999, 2024.
I just picked a team with among the most WS appearances over that stretch LOL

Dodgers probably the other, for the same reason?

Good guess with the Dodgers, but they were in 3. 1978, 2020, 2024.

Cards have been in a lot of WS as well, but I don’t remember them having SUPER teams.

Not the Cards or the A's. The other team had 6 WS appearances in a 20 year stretch (including the 4 referenced by this trivia question).

However, right now, they have one of the longest WS appearance droughts.

20 doesn’t count.
Yeah certainly not for 'best regular season record' as 60 games is a season you throw out. As much as I hate to say this, the title is legit...arguably it was harder to win the title that year, with more playoff series to get through.

1995 the Braves led the NL with 90 wins which is wild. Won the Series too...baseball playoffs are so random

This hint did it for me. I originally thought Cardinals but the WS I remember from my lifetime, they were always around 90 wins and never the "dominant" team but were playing the best ball around September/October

Since no one has posted anything, I hope no one minds if I go again:

Name the 6 players who have won an MVP with two different teams.

Barry Bonds
Alex Rodriguez
Frank Robinson

Are the 3 that come to mind.

All are correct.

Two of the other three have both done it in about the past 10 years.

One player of the six was the very first to do it almost ninety years ago.
