Yeah I think that was the model that all the teams with the plain, boring multi-sport astro turf stadiums from the 70's used to upgrade. Camden Yards was maybe mid 90's then after that the Reds, Phillies, Pirates, etc. started building smaller baseball only stadiums around the turn of the century. But I think they used the Orioles stadium as a template.
Camden totally changed the game. Toronto was already under construction when Camden opened, so it kinda missed the trend, but every park since has been an absolute beauty (save for Miami, probably)

@steveringo appears to have abandoned the question.

The Coliseum was built in ‘68. Kaufman was built in ‘73.

I was surprised at the answer. I went there for a bowl game back in the mid ‘90s (my only visit there).

Oops! I don't click on the MLB board every day..

Anaheim Stadium opened in 1966!

what happens when you "Watch" a thread?
Take a look at the section. It will totally change how you navigate this site.

I never add threads manually. But once I respond in a thread, it is now “tagged” for me. But, if I lose interest in the thread, I can “unfollow” it.

New Comiskey kind of sucked compared to these other new parks

If you “watch” a thread, that thread will show in that section. Simple as that.

I roam around to different forums and find an interesting thread from time to time on a forum that I don’t frequent. I would never remember that I joined that convo without the Watched Thread section. I honestly don’t know how posters don’t live in this section.

There are two ways to “watch” a thread. 1) post in the thread. 2) manually tag the thread for watching. You can “unwatchable” a thread at any time as well.
