it looked to me like Kreider decided to take the shot and let his body go where it goes, instead of avoiding the contact. exactly what I would want players on my team to do.

I think the Kreider hate is going a little overboard. I am upset that Price is hurt, I want to see the best play but running a goalie is common place. IMO the injury was unintentional.

The talk of him going full speed as a pretext to convincingly lose control and hit the goalie is laughable. He has a chance at a breakaway with two defenders chasing him. He is supposed to be skating full speed. Could he have avoided Price better? Absolutely, but if my forward has a chance to get in the opposing goalies head, I want him to take it.

That was a HUGE ANSWER BACK!

About time we get a lucky bounce like them.

We're getting dominated on the boards, not good

What I can't figure out about Henry is how in the hell he is so effective at covering the low part of the net when he stands upright with his stick off the ice when the play is above the faceoff circles in his zone.

I would love to see a scientific examination of his reflexes. There really shouldn't be any way he can get down to cover low from that position. But he always does. He's a freak of nature.

Rangers look pretty flat so far 3rd string goalie is in we should be testing him.

If I am Therrian I put Budaj in to start the 2nd . Too important a game to rely on Tokarski especially given the luck the Rangers are getting tonight

Lundqvist was solid in the first period. Captain Obvious says that Montreal needs to score the next goal if they want to even the series before heading to New York.
