Curry with a silly three attempt from way down town. The Raptors are in control. 89 shots to the Warriors 72. Way too many second chance shots

Can't get a rebound and won't play defense. Idiot Green fouls him with 2 seconds left on the clock. Absurd.

Toronto punking the Warriors in the 4th. The Warriors are soft.

Wow! This is stunning how weak this team is mentally. ANother offensive rebound for the Raptors

Tied up. Should be no excuse now at home with a minute left.

Got lucky. Gotta play better than this. Giving up way too many rebounds and second chances.

The real issue for me with the team 5 games in, is that they need to shore up their perimeter defense. Even though the Raptors shot a horrible percentage last night, they had way too many clean open looks, some that just didn't go in.

The rebounding isn't so much of an issue for me because I think that gets shored up with a bit more consistency defending the perimeter. If you shoot that many 3's, there's going to be a lot more long rebounds, which plays to the offense's favor in terms of getting offensive rebounds. I think that's what we saw last night. Many of Poeltl's rebounds came towards just below the freethrow line, where he would tip the ball back out to teammates. He wasn't simply just ripping them down at the rim (at least of what I recall).

In their 5 games, they've been out-rebounded by Houston by 2, Pelicans by 2 and Raptors yesterday by 5. In the long run they'll need to clean this up a bit, but again I think this gets fixed in different ways. I don't think it's a lack of effort.

The perimeter defense needs to improve though. They need Ron Adams to go over another crash course on defensive switches and rotations.

How is @Montalban not here to bitch about this Warriors Wizards game?

That said, there's no doubt the Ws have a lot of work to do on defense. Good news is there's 76 more games to get it right.

Didn't see the game but it appears the Warriors did not play any D until the end; at least that's what Kerr said. Nice comeback from 18 down but never should have been 18 down at home against a mediocre team like the Wizards. Still hoping for that first complete game of the season.

Wouldn't call Washington mediocre. Probably a high 40/low 50 win team but i do agree they shouldn't get down by 18 at home to the wiz

The Warriors don't give effort for 48 minutes. They try and turn it on at the end and against good teams its going to bite them. The effort I would like to see is still not there but they did win without Green and that is good.

No question they are a long way from championship form right now. But it's very reasonable to expect they will get there in plenty of time.

Nice to see you two getting along

Let's hope so. They are actually trailing the lowly Detroit Pistons at home now. Not even an effort on the offensive glass.
