All I ask is that they give me an effort. If not, I will continue on full blast. Hustle takes no talent, it just takes "want to" there is no excuse for highly paid professional athletes to not give their best effort.

Don't cry over spilt milk.
The rest is history.
We take 'em one game at a time.
That's why we play the games.

Cliche' a thons are fun. :thumb:

You do understand that this is the single biggest game of the season on Dallas' schedule right?

Say what you will, but the Mavs have a lot more to play for in this one than the Warriors do. Of course they will be the hungrier team.
And that is one of the things I have to take into account where the Warriors are concerned; every team is going to look at their game on the schedule as one where they can prove something.
They played a good second half tonight against Dallas. I can only imagine what was said to the team at halftime after they blew an 18-point second quarter lead but whatever it was, it worked. I don't think Steve Kerr was too happy with the breakaway dunk off the backboard by Bell. The bench dug it but Kerr had a few words with the young man as he came to the sideline.

Its like their heads go up their collective ass for periods of each game. At least last night they were able to extract their heads before it was too late this time.

Good gawd, relax already. They've played 4 games. The season is a marathon not a sprint race.

Well I'm sure you posting this thread will help with that
Probably not but whatever Kerr said to them last night in the locker room at half time after that fiasco of a second quarter certainly seems to have got their attention.

I'm a somewhat pessimistic sports fan, but I think there's a good reason for that. This though....no reason for it.

I thought Spurs fans were spoiled. Two tastes of a title and Warriors fans think they should never lose another game. Jesus.

Not having the board filled up with Monty's bitch about the Warriors threads.

This is now Montalban's Official Bitch About the Warriors Superthread.

Let's keep all bitching about the Warriors confined to this thread.

Is this board open to other posters besides just montalban?

Asking for a friend.

No, but so far they are three for three in that category. You cannot blow a 17-point 4th quarter lead in your opener at home after getting your rings and the fans being crazy. They owe the fans more than what they got. The NOLA game did not particularly impress me and they outright quit in the Grizzlies game (Durrant and Curry). That is inexcusable.
Interesting take - considering KD had one of his best defensive games in his career that night against Nola. That doesn't sound like he gave up to me at all.
By the time they got ejected the game was already lost. There wasn't enough time left on the clock for them to come back had they been able to finish it out.
