Nice win last night. Tate looks solid as advertised. Levy has become a really good player. George Johnson continues to be a pleasant surprise. The secondary hung in there well. It's easy to take CJ for granted at this point, but he's tremendous.

The final touchdown drive was a thing of beauty. 12 plays, 80 yards, 7 minutes. That's how good teams nail the coffin shut in the 4th quarter. We never see that kind of sustained, imposing, time/life draining drive from Lions. It was a sight for sore eyes.

The Giants are not a good team on either side of the ball right now, and they're injured. Carolina will be a very good test for our offense next week. Their D is solid.

I think the Giants will eventually get the offense going. It will take a few more weeks for sure as guys were flat out running the wrong plays. Got to get the hand signals down for it to work.

My favorite was when Eli rolled out for a bubble screen, and both WRs were blocking 10 yards down the field. Even if only one of them had been blocking, neither were looking for the ball, so (at least in theory) it would have been offensive PI as soon as the ball left Eli's hand. Granted that's counting on the refs to make the right call, but it's pretty illegal for a WR to be engaged in a block while the ball is in the air.

Nice to see the other team making those kinds of mistakes for a change.
