I figured it would be cool to have a thread to discuss some modifications some of us have made to their vehicles in the past. Modifications could be performance, cosmetic or even safety related.

Some of the things I have done:

    - Vehicle: Installed "halo" CCFL lights on my 2011 Titan to run as DLRs. The lights purchased were by Oracle and so far so good. They look slick and help make me visible on foggy mornings or times where I think it is an overkill to use headlights. Will try and post a pic but here is an example (headlights only):

    - Trailer: Since I am finding more and more that I am hauling my Kawasaki Mule, I have been searching for a optimal way to trailer it to my various destinations so that it doesn't move around in transit. I happened upon a tire bonnet / tire chock combination that has worked well. It makes it so you don't have to tie down your unit to the trailer so your shocks are impacted but rather tie down the tires and the unit stays put on the trailer. So far so good and it is a cheap way to get peace of mind when hauling stuff around. Right now I use a pair of these on the front and rear tires.

Sample pic of what it looks like:

Haven't really started modding my 2016 Mustang yet. Mostly PpearNce and sound.
    GT350 shifter
    GT350 wing
    GT350 wheels
    Ford Racing hood struts
Driver side and passenger side oil catch cans
    Corsa Extreme Cat-Back exhaust system
    Haven't dyno'd yet. More torque-y than my 2013 was due to 3.55 rear end. 2013 had a 3.31

    Future:
    Roush Stage 2 Supercharger kit.
Think that all this car needs

    my 2013 mustang had
    Koni adjustable shocks and struts
Eibach Sportline Springs (lowered 1.5 inches)
Forgestsr F14 wheels. Piano Black. 20x10 rear 20x9 front
Silver Horse Racing Flush Mount Quarter Louvers
    Kooks Long Tube Headers
    Borla Cat Back/Resintor Delete
    Ford Racing Quad Tip Mufflers
    JLT Cold Air Intake
Driver side and passenger side oil catch cans
    Custom Tune
Dyno-d at 430 rear wheel HP. And that's about as far as a Coyote can go naturally aspirated with a 3.31

Which is why my 2016 will be boosted. Shooting for 600 HP

first one the iphone decided to just put what the fuck ever on there. it was too late to edit it.

Oil catch cans or oil separators in the PCV vent hoses to keep oil mist from going back into the intake.

I don't want this junk in my combustion chamber. The boosted guys I know get a hell of a lot more than this. For a slow daily driver it isn't a big deal venting oil to the combustion chamber and burning it off but i going to be adding about 9 psi of boost in the future and want to keep my uppers clean

I do miss my 96 Cobra at times. Haven't modified any of my wehicles since, but the Cobra had a Novi 2000RR supercharger/intercooler and the exhaust, suspension, and fuel modifications to support. Those, along with appearance mods, just seem like too much to list at this time.

Found a previous post in which I had listed the mods:

    - complete engine rebuild with forged pistons & rods
    - port & polished heads
    - Paxton NOVI 2000RR (was running at only 6 psi for my everyday tune)
    - Aeromotive A1000 fuel system
    - upgraded radiator ('96 Cobras had a cooling problem even without extra power)
    - Hooker long tube headers, off-road h-pipe, side exhaust
    - T-56 transmission (6-speed) w/short throw shifter
    - aluminum flywheel, upgraded clutch & pressure plate, and clutch quadrant & cable
    - aluminum driveshaft
    - 4.10 ring & pinion
    - tubular front k-member with coil-overs
    - torque arm, panhard bar & tubular UCAs & LCAs
    - subframe connectors designed for the side exhaust

Mods to my 2015.5 Chevrolet 2500HD LTZ Z71 4x4 6.6L Duramax crew cab standard bed.

Put flash drive loaded with over 100 old rock songs into usb port in console.
Install phone charger into 12 volt outlet plug.
Clip holster into console with loaded glock 26.

Put back seat up. Cut head rest holes in furniture throw. Install over back seat to keep yellow labrador hair off of it. Cut hole in furniture throw for lanyard to attach to dog harness. Plug lanyard into seat belt receptacle.

Put Local 1 Heat Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local #1 hitch plug into hitch receptacle.

Install Ping G25 irons, taylor made sldr hybrids, taylormade sldr driver and 3 wood into bed of truck.

Install 30 oz yeti cup filled with white russian into cup holder next to ash tray.

While I know these mods sound somewhat difficult they're actually not, anyone can do them if they have patience.
