If Robinson is there he is s the likely pick IMO. I don't think the Cowboys have any intention of extending Pollard long term. I doubt he is there but it is possibleFor fun.
If you do any mocks post them here.
this was done on nflmockdraftdatabase. Trades were way to valuable, so I took many

I want a starter at 26. Johnson looks good no doubt, but Ocyrus Torrence would also be a good addition IMO. He gave up no sacks and had no penalties last year. He is massive. He won't get shoved all over like McGovern. I see there is no general consensus on any of these prospects outside the top 15. I have seen both these guys mocked much earlier . I tend to believe games are won in the trenches. So if a mauler is sitting there at 26 and is going to be a starter day one I am making that move. There are a few large defensive tackles I would consider here. Even that small DT from Pitt (Kancey) if he falls. He can and will cause major problems with that pass rush. They got to figure that run defense out
If Johnston were there I would jump all over him. Kid could be Julio Jones.I want a starter at 26. Johnson looks good no doubt, but Ocyrus Torrence would also be a good addition IMO. There's at least 2 TE's who could be BPA when they draft, I'd have no qualms if they went that way.I heard last night the Cowboys are most mocked (or something of that nature) to get a TE with #1.
That would piss me off to no end.
Wright may be a pipe dream. Recent mocks have him going much sooner. I have seen multiple mocks showing him going at 9 to the Bears .This one kept giving me good trades, players fell. Probably a pipe dream mock.

Mayer is the name most frequently linked to the Cowboys. There's at least 2 TE's who could be BPA when they draft, I'd have no qualms if they went that way.
I agree. If the ND or Utath TE is there, no problem taking either. I just think they will take someone that we don't anticipate. Like Smith last year or LV. It worked out, but I don't like getting cute every year. Like Jaylon Smith. Just take the BP if it is position of need. There's at least 2 TE's who could be BPA when they draft, I'd have no qualms if they went that way.
Look, I love a TE but that is not a position that we need to draft #1. Our Boys have a stable of TE that are pretty damn good. There's at least 2 TE's who could be BPA when they draft, I'd have no qualms if they went that way.
TE is on the same level of just about any position. I'd put RB and DT as higher needs, but not at unreasonable distance. If TE is BPA then I'd rather go there than reach for another "need".Look, I love a TE but that is not a position that we need to draft #1. Our Boys have a stable of TE that are pretty damn good.
I get it is hard to turn down a good weapon and glad we didn't the last two times a stud fell in our laps. At some point shit has to be addressed.
I am not for reaching.... no not at all. But we get another LaFleur and I will haunt you.TE is on the same level of just about any position. I'd put RB and DT as higher needs, but not at unreasonable distance. If TE is BPA then I'd rather go there than reach for another "need".
What if we get another Shante Carver?I am not for reaching.... no not at all. But we get another LaFleur and I will haunt you.
Witten is in my top 5 favorite Cowboy. I have nothing against the position but we got a stable of really nice ones.
I hope a few other positions are BPA is what I am rooting for.
We have a starting RB who is a legit Pro Bowl guy and was one of the best in the league last year. Because of his durability questions and injury we need a good #2, but the starter is one of the better ones in the league. But at TE our starter will be one of two rookies who were ok and both of whom I really like and showed potential, but who had 30 receptions combined between the two of them last year. I just don't see anyway RB is a bigger need than TE. I think it's more people think (and may be correct) that Bijan is a potential superstar and don't see any of these TEs as that.TE is on the same level of just about any position. I'd put RB and DT as higher needs, but not at unreasonable distance. If TE is BPA then I'd rather go there than reach for another "need".
Exactly. People seem to not want a TE because we whiffed on some TEs in the past. Those players have nothing to do with the players in this draftWhat if we get another Shante Carver?
Why?I heard last night the Cowboys are most mocked (or something of that nature) to get a TE with #1.
