My first mock of the season. I traded back to 32, which would be ideal and got Mack Jones. I like getting that extra season on the rookie contract.

1 (32)- Mack Jones, QB
2 (51)- Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR
2 (58)- Dylan Moses, LB
3 (71)- Jabril Cox, LB
3 (74)- Liam Eichenberg, OT
3 (82)- Hunter Long, TE
4 (114)- Rodarius Williams, CB
7 (243)- Christian Uphoff

I like it but can you clarify why you went back to back LB? Friendly nit pick

This team needs LBers. Not two or three WRs as shown in so many mock drafts.

We need lbs for sure

You guys don't foresee Landon being a S in name only and being moved to LB?
I'll wait for gekekoa, only he can provide the real answer to my question.
also not disagreeing with you all

Highly over paid hybrid LBer. Based on last year I would like to see Curl over Collins.

If Curl or whoever shows that they can outplay Collins at S, then yeah although he's overpaid...he should thrive playing closer to the LOS

I think don't know that Collins thrives, I think he would be a situational player. Who knows though. If he can put on a few pounds maybe he can play LBer.

They were BPA and we are in dire need of speed at LB...at least one. These guys can compete with each other for one spot or maybe take another spot.

Thoughts on Landon Collins being moved to OLB? we can't cut him or at least its not reasonable

You are correct. We can’t really cut him.

You let him compete. He was a first team all pro, so he has the talent. He is obviously better close to the line, so maybe a move to LB is best. Maybe Curl can motivate him because Curl was good, not just for a rookie. The key is he has to want to play. If not, cut him in 2022. Draft both LBs and let them compete.

Dylan Moses is 6’3” 235 and comes from a long line of talented LBs.

Cox is 6’3” 230.

Let them compete with Collins and let them fight. Maybe Collins beats one of them out. Maybe one ends up a good starter.

Thanks, your responses make a lot sense. I'm banking on real RB talent slipping into the 3rd, I view it as insurance for Gibson missing some time.
Although Barber did move the chains when needed, 2.7 ypc is awful. I give your mock a high grade, just needed to understand the back to back LBs.

No current player in the NFL with a 84m contract is a situational player. LC also is not growing a couple inches or putting on 30 lbs. Can we trade him? Or, do we cut him and play Curl?

I thought that was the best part of his mock.

I think his mock was good too, we are talking about it. I personally could see Collins getting moved to LB
and was concerned about RB, but that's a different mock. I asked for gkekoas vision behind his picks and he provided it.
good mock

Actually think a couple of THUMPERS at LB would seal the deal for this defense.
