Okay so here we go.
Players...
All players who are in the HOF whos career began prior to 1933 will cost $25
All players who are not in the HOF whos career began prior to 1933 are NOT ELIGIBLE
Players whos career began between 1933 - 2000 will cost $1 for every all star game appearance
Players whos career began between 1933 - 2000 who are in the HOF will cost an addition $5
Players whos career began between 2001 - 2016 are not eligible
Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens & Alex Rodriguez will cost $25
George Herman Ruth will cost $40
The Salary Cap is $200
You will draft 24 players.
I do have some minor problems with this draft setup...
1. Why is Babe 40?? that is going to be 10 dollars more than the Next highest player... that is a little bit insane.... if you want to say no Babe, then just say no babe...
2. Can there be SOME assumption towards HOF, like for example, if you make an all star game 10 or more times, then you are automatically a HOFer... because even with setting up that no players after 2001 are eligible, there are still many HOF balloters available in this draft...
I don't like adding the $5 for HOF between 1933-2000.
And what do you suggest to make Babe $50. 1/4 of the cap? Just bc you have him it isn't guaranteed a win. An extra $10 more than any player is a good amount. It can get you 1-3 players, maybe more---at least one HOF player.
I was saying Babe was too high...
Babes biggest value bump comes from his pitching.
He is 4th all time when you take away his pitching.
I'm talking about per war he is ranked 4th. I wouldn't rank him 4th.
But 20 WAR is two free MVP caliber seasons.
I don't view Babe the same I'd view Jordan.
Babe didn't face 90 MPH fastballs or have to travel ~30k miles in a season to play games.

I guess the point I'm trying to express Is. Ruth was great, but he is not that far ahead of the rest of the top 5.
Anything to support that Walter and Feller threw that hard? InterestingThere wasn't a surplus of guys like nowadays that could hit 95 mph consistently but guys still threw hard. Walter and Bob Feller could hit 103-105 on the gun. But even taking that away, his numbers were through the roof----supernatural.
Lebron is closer to MJ than any player is to Babe imo
