Do we lower it to $15 which will make a few players ineligible?

20 is perfect. A little under 7 per player. No player restrictions then.

Someone might have said something along the same lines, but what about a draft where we release HOFers in a later round. So like, you can only draft non HOFers in the first 5 rounds, then the pool opens up for one conference's HOFers for a couple rounds, then the other conference's HOFers. It would be cool, because whoever picks 1st and last will have the first Crack at something.

You can draft any player from any era, with the following restrictions:

You can only draft 1 player with 450+ HR's
You can only draft 2 other players with 300+ HR's
You can only draft 1 player with 500+ Steals
You can have a max of 5 players who hit .300(if a guy hit .300 with 450 HR's, you lose both slots)
You can only have 1 pitcher with 300+ wins
You can only have 1 other SP with 250+ wins
You can only have 1 starting pitcher with a career ERA of 2.50 or less
You can only have 1 other starter with a career ERA of less than 3.00
You can only have 1 RP with 300+ Saves

No salary cap needed

Sure, It's just a thought. It would be similar to a salary cap draft, but easier IMO.

How about a no bench Baseball draft where:

26 Rounds

We draft

7 starting pitchers(3 pitchers will start for both LEFTIES and RIGHTIES)
5 Relief pitchers

14 batters


we make a lineup vs lefties and a lineup vs righties, with 4 offensive bats playing for both lineups...


We can draft 13 HOFers(all MVPs are also HOFers)

Here is the twist: of the 7 players(4 bats, 3 SP) that play for both teams, only 3 can be HOFers, and NONE can be from the first 5 rounds...
