That just isn't true. He still goes through his reads at Oregon.

Yeah....read options.

Winston is a much more pro-ready QB than Mariota, and he has all the intangibles to be successful in the league, regardless of what 'his lawyer' says.

I see Vance is still taking up for his idiot loser baby brother. You really dont see the irony in your post? You state, "that's you're opinion, not fact [...] I have him as a top 40 player for the record". So just because I don't agree with your simpleton brother my statement is just an opinion but your ranking of Jake Fisher is somehow fact? Blahahaha! Who the fuck are you? To quote Bill Tobin, "You know as much as my neighbor and my neighbor is a postman!" You and your brother can suck a dick!

So it looks like Tubbs was wrong yet again. So no Fisher was not selected in the 1st round.

And CB isn't a need? Terence Newman just left to sign with Minnesota and Hall, Jones and Kirkpatrick are all free agents next season. Knowing the Bengals history they always draft players replacements the year prior to them hitting free agency, aka Eifert, Still, and Thompson.

Right theory, wrong position.

Not the guy I thought they would take because of injury, but I said all along it would more than likely be a tackle.

I do like that kid, think he has a very bright future, and he would have never started this year anyway with Whitworth and Smith, so the injury is not a concern really.

Not sure why it is a requirement our first round pick needs to be a starter from day one. But I know some of you think the immediate needs are what needs to be drafted 1st and work our way back. I prefer to take best talent on the board and we will deal with the filler later on. I am okay with the way we draft.

Best case scenerio, Dalton gets some injury last preseason game of the year, McCarron is forced to start for about 6 weeks or so, we go 6-0 with McCarron and he puts up great numbers and Dalton starts losing his job from that point on. We have to pray for better play out of our QB, and Dalton already showed us what he has, time to see what the next guy has.

Because the Bengals haven't WON A PLAYOFF GAME IN 25 FUCKING YEARS?!?! HOW ABOUT THAT?

Not really a good enough excuse to have to draft for need and possibly weaken the roster later on. Our issue is the QB. The way we are drafting will keep this team competitive every single year. Problem is, we need the QB to carry us over that hump and we do not have that right now. So there is no point going and blowing picks just because we need to fill certain positions now. There will be plenty of FA vets to fill holes once the fall out from the draft occurs. In the meantime, put guys on the roster that maximizes talent.

The Jets are lacking depth everywhere. However, they draft DT, the one position of strength on their team with Richardson and Wilkerson already set to be starters, and they are being praised? Why is that?

You guys absolutely hate this pick now, but next year when we do not resign one of our OT's and we are able to slide this kid in and he plays lights out football, you will conveniently forget how much you bitched about this pick.

You create two of the best lines in football and the rest will fall in place as long as you have a QB that can take you there. Hill is a beast and with some healthy guys and a few picks for filler to learn and grow, we have a chance. But once again, that is on Dalton.

25 years of not winning a playoff game will continue no matter how good our roster is if we have Dalton throwing up a 40 QBR in the playoffs.

I love that he gets so upset it's adorable. I don't think someone got their nap out today.

Wow, the Bengals select Fisher with the 53rd pick, I wonder who called that one.

Doesn't really matter. Even if we got everyone we wanted, the Bengals would manage to fuck it up. 10-6, one and done. It's who we are. Embrace it..............

I doubt we'll make the playoffs this season. We were very lucky to make them last season. The Bucs handed us that game that got us in.
