I would rather have Winston than Dalton. So count me in on the I'll Draft Winston Bandwagon. I just wouldn't pay the price to trade up to #1 to grab him.
I wouldn't pay an RGIII level price because even if he's good that cripples your franchise. I would take a deal a similar to what the Falcons paid to move up for Julio Jones to draft Winston. I think he's the best prospect at QB this decade other than Luck

On OT:
1. Dallas has shown that having a dominant OL can win games. It's a copycat league. Therefore, even the 7th (that's you're opinion, not fact) OT could go early 2nd. I have him as a top 40 player for the record.

2. Crowder in the 4th is about right. I'd rather draft Lockett in the 3rd, but at least decent value there.

3. I'm not a Collins fan. He's a 2nd round pick IMO. Great run defender, but a liability in coverage. Stop me if you've heard it before. Byron Jones could move to S and I like him more.

4. I'd like to get Senquez Golson in the 3rd. Always around the ball, doesn't drop the INTs. Sort of reminds me of Mathieu in that regard.

5. Nobody's rankings are absolute. Even the pros are wrong half the time. NFL teams too. Always remember, JaMarcus Russell was a #1 pick. Teddy Bridgewater went at the end of round 1. If you think you're always right, you need help.

Ew Ew and more Ew. I don't even have him as a first round prospect in this draft and on top of that, even his lawyer says he is not ready off the field for the NFL. This kid is going to be a trainwreck.

He has NFL size. He makes NFL throws. He has NFL caliber anticipation. He has NFL physical and mental toughness. He was a good academic student who supposedly impresses everyone in the NFL with his football IQ

One of the handful of HOF QBs playing right now has a r*pe allegation against him as well. If he was guilty of that he should be in jail but I don't think a player should be punished for an allegation. The other stuff that's been reported were stupid college pranks. Peyton Manning did worse things.

I see a high a floor and a high ceiling. Time will tell. If he goes to TB he'll have a solid group of skill players and they'll just have to buildup the line

I like Winston. Yeah, he threw some picks in 2014, but his 2013 season was unreal. I'll give him a pass on that. He proved his football intelligence multiple times. Off the field, there are risks. I don't get why Tubbs is so down on Winston for off field issues, but defends Johnny "football".

1. He can't read linebackers. At all. It's bad.
2. I don't defend Manziels off field stuff, but he also wasn't breaking laws. His stuff is childs play compared to a r*pe allegation, possibly a 2nd, on top of the other stuff.
3. When your own lawyer says you aren't ready off the field for the NFL that carries a lot of weight with me. That guy should know.
4. I don't like his decision making on the field either. It isn't that good.
5. His off field issues fall far below his on field issues for me.

If Winston gets his baggage in order, I believe he's a top 10 QB in this league. He's got everything you want. Is he gonna walk in day one and be Tom Brady? No. But I believe he has the physical tools and football smarts to be great. Decision making needs work, but the kid has natural grasp of offenses and the pocket presence of a seasoned vet. He seems to have natural charisma as a leader as well. In two years as a starter in college, he lost a grand total of 1 game. I like Winston a lot. Just my opinion.

What do you think of Mariota?

My top QB in the draft. Much better decision maker, much more athletic and can make plays with his legs. Doesn't have as big an arm, but can make his way through reads and find the open receiver. Is extremely smart and a hard worker and doesn't have any off field concerns. He isn't Luck or RGIII as a prospect but he is a very good one.

Mariota had 0 experience running an offense where he has to read defenses or go through progressions. Throws are predetermined by an offense designed for simplicity. He might be very good, but there's just no way to be sure of that.

That just isn't true. He still goes through his reads at Oregon. Oregons offense isn't Auburns offense.

His lawyer needs fired right away then because he could be costing Winston millions. How f'n stupid can a lawyer be to say something like that? Sounds like his lawyer needs to grow intellectually a little as well.

I see Vance is still taking up for his idiot loser baby brother. You really dont see the irony in your post? You state, "that's you're opinion, not fact [...] I have him as a top 40 player for the record". So just because I don't agree with your simpleton brother my statement is just an opinion but your ranking of Jake Fisher is somehow fact? Blahahaha! Who the fuck are you? To quote Bill Tobin, "You know as much as my neighbor and my neighbor is a postman!" You and your brother can suck a dick!

It's about damn time this thread had some genuine vitriol.
