Okay that at least explains why they didn't try to kick a field goal to make it 20-9.

You'd think somebody else would be able to kick one from the 10-yard line though.

I don't know...that's a very precise play and if they don't practice it with an emergency kicker, going for it and making them drive the length of the field isn't the worst decision I've ever seen...especially since Seattle block their XP earlier in the game
