Anyone still around? I haven't been around much since I got myself a brand new baby boy two weeks ago.

Time for offseason changes around here and it looks like they aren't wasting any time by taking Gardy out.

Not surprised myself. He's a good manager, but with the losing track record it was the right move to make.

I know I've head a lot of people calling for Rick Anderson. Might not be a bad idea to go in a different direction there either. I mean just look at how long the rotation has looked the way it does.

From what I understand, everyone on Gardy's staff was fired, allowing the next manager to form his own staff.

Gardy was a good manager and did what he could with what he had....which isn't saying much. At any rate, it was time for a change in culture... especially with the youngsters in the minor leagues.

Hopefully, Buxton and Sano can get back on the trajectory they were on once they're fully healed.

I've never had a problem with Ozzie G. He told you how it was, and with our growing Latin contingent in the minors, he makes more sense than you'd realize.

I'm not a fan of Ozzie G. Period. That's cool that he can speak the same language as some of the players but I don't dig his coaching style. That's all. One guy. One opinion.

Maybe they should try to get Redmond to come over from the Marlins. lol
I'd actually welcome that but I think he is staying put in Miami.

I'm definitely cool with Molitor being the manager but Ozzie would be ok as well. Sure he's a nutjob but as it says hes latin.

All of our young talent is Spanish for the most part...Vargas, Santana, Arcia, Berrios, Escobar, Sano etc..

Vargas can speak English decently enough the rest I have only seen quotes through interpreters except a week ago with Santana which was a disaster.

Yeah, I'm ready for something new, different and refreshing. Maybe someone who has a little more guts. More aggressive than conservative.
