I think I have made my opinions on playing players out of position clear so I wont go over it again, its not a death sentence but it will help me decide close games.

Question to everyone if the player for the A's played from 72-74, didn't play in 75 cuz injured but still with A's, then in 76-78 was still with the A's. Now the player was with the team for over 5years but didn't play 1yr in between but still with the team. Is this player allowed to be drafted as a A's?

Yes the rule is 5 years with a team not 5 consecutive years with a team.
