They are debuting the Giants episode today.

They have already aired the Padres, Snakes, Rox and Doggies. They are projecting the Giants to have 90 wins (a DROP of 2 games).

I believe 2 PM, but they will replay it about 8 times a day for the next week or so.

Just listened to the KNBR interview with John Hart from MLB Network and the guy who did the segment...it's 2pm. He thinks the Giants are the team to beat in the west, but that COL and LA are close behind.

I watched the Doggie ep yesterday, and they said that the Doggie rotation is on par with SF and that Bilz and Kershaw are a match for Cain and Timmeh.

Huh??

We will see what they have to say about the defending World Series Champs

Unfortunately they aren't far off when they say that. We're all basking in the glow of the championship, and that can never be taken away, but our guys aren't the only good pitchers in baseball. Tim and Matt are going to lose 7-10 games each this year. Kershaw and Billz are really good. If they switched jerseys with our guys we'd totally agree with the assessment above.

That said, fuck the Dodgers.

MSG, I am not saying Bilz and Kershaw are not good. I think Kershaw is one of the best arms in the game.

But how can you say they are equal to Timmeh and Cain? 2CYA and 2 Rings vs ...

I guess I did say 'on par' but I didn't mean to say 'equal'. I think it's probably too close to call. Kershaw is one of the best arms in the game. So is Timmeh. Cain is a top 20 pitcher. So is Billingley probably. The duos are comparable, and I was just saying MLB wasn't way off-base or deserving a 'huh?' for saying so.

The rings don't even matter, plenty of HOF quality pitchers with no rings at all. Tim's CYs do of course, but Kershaw has Cy quality stuff too.

Now, 1-5 I don't think you can call the Dodgers on par with SF. Our 3 & 4 are significantly better than theirs. The 5s are a wash.
