I think "Takes away" is a little too strong. He's tied with that all time great starter Mark Gubicza in HR/9

His last 3 years before injuries ended his career, he was 56-25, won the Cy Young and finished runner up twice and averaged 150 ERA+. Not dominant? We must have different definitions...

Didn't Webb only pitch for like 6 years. he won the Cy Young once and had a very good 3 year stretch but great pitchers have continued, long success but that being said a good #5.

If he is great. Pitch him twice in a 7 game series UK. I dare ya lol

You realize your #3 has a 162 game average of 14-11 with a 2.95 ERA and your #5 has a 162 of 16-11 with a 3.15 ERA. In other words, their 162 average records are virtually identical, and while your guys have a little better ERA, Webb's ERA+ blows them away....so I will leave it to you, either Webb was dominant, or Drysdale and Richard weren't....

I didn't say he's the best ever, I said I was really happy with him as a 5. I will run him out against anyone else's #5 all day long....

You realize my #3 was also pitching in the Major Leagues at age 19 He also had an ERA under 3 9 times in 14 years. You realize my #3 pitcher also pitcher over 2,000 more innings than Webb.

Richard also stacks up favorable against Webb IMO. Let's also remember I never said Webb sucked I only replied to your comment about him eliminating any power.
