I always come across strange information in these drafts, the strangest so far, a HOF pitcher is burried about 300 yrds from the house.

nope Satch has been drafted already, he isn't from KC at all and didn't play in KC, that made it more shocking.

I really don't know why I noticed the cemetery after the buried tag, but I know I research my players much more extensively than most, except UK he knows where they were born too.

Pretty sure I know who it is...the way I've observed you guys draft I'm surprised he's still around if it's the guy I'm thinking

an odd story not from these drafts about Tom Henke,

We are snow goose hunting and we know alot of farmers in this area, we see the birds in a field but can't figure out who owns it. We call our main farmer for connection information. He says thats the Henke's. I am in the middle of hunting, not thinking about baseball. We drive around see a couple of guys near a tractor in a field next to the one we want to hunt. Head over to talk, he looks oddly familiar, I think about the name again. "You wouldn't be related to Tom Henke the pitcher?" "I am Tom Henke the pitcher"

In a very small, probably less than 25 person town in Missouri called Taos. Now that was a shocker.

almost certain it was Taos Missouri but its north of KC...the map says middle of the state with like 800 people.

This town had half a stop sign, you stopped coming off the gravel road to pavement, no stop signs on the paved road, lol

I usually know or heard of every player in these drafts, maybe its rust..but Stoke has stumped me 3 times and everyone else zero. not sure if thats good or bad on my part.

McGraw - realized the name as a Manger, never had bothered to look him up as a player..so I knew him but not as a player

Jennings - may have seen him, if so, never thought of drafting him and didn't know you got into the HOF by getting HBP to death.

Ed Morris - not even sure which Ed Morris the pitcher was drafted at this point, could be a toss up "cannonball" or "Big Ed"
