While we wait for 500, nos what you think of the Nats trade for Melancon? Wonder if Nats still try to land Robinson. I would also like to see them land a consistent leadoff hitter. No not Larry Walker but someone else.

On the trade Nats gave up 2 okay to good players for a great closer. He might be only a 2 month rental but they gave up way less then the Cubs did for a player maybe just as good.

1. Like you said they are still in the hunt for at the minimum a WC spot
2. They got so so lefty relief pitchers for a stud closer

Congrats on getting Miller, Shane. He's the best and most profession teammate I've seen on the Yankees in addition to being an insane pitcher. He took less money to come to the Yankees and made zero stink about moving down to the 8th for Chapman after being an all-star closer. You'll love him
