But knowing they only got 2 hits off lesser starters, I'm not really optimistic about them facing Verlander in Detroit.

But since I just posted that, they'll probably get 15 hits.

Verlander with a 2.27 ERA in September, 0.00 ERA in October (1 regular season start, 2 playoff starts). Peaking at the right time, and hopefully he can keep it going today.

i wouldn't worry too much about the rain -- i live less than 10 miles from Comerica and it is overcast, but no rain at all.

Now the Red Sox just need to get some hits. I don't know it just seems like the three starters have gotten them off balance or something. It has been great pitching by the Tigers so far. (From the starters).
