FTR I always liked Worthy's game... and when I said I was surprised MJ chose him it wasn't meant as a knock. I just think there are other guys who would compliment Jordan's game a little better, is all.

Truthfully, the ONLY reason I'm not surprised is because they were teammates at UNC and because Worthy had no problem stepping into more of a support role.

With all his talent and the fact that he would have been the man on almost any other team in the league and never complained about "touches" or not getting enough credit.

LBJ took the worst finals team in history to the finals. Look at their roster, NOBODY wins a ship with that team and they played the dynasty Spurs.

LBJ definitely has a good shot to become the best. Needs 6 or more ships to do that though.

Worthy never got to put up the numbers he was capable of producing with the Lakers. They were too stacked. The 87 and 88 Finals is where he made his Hall of Fame mark. Word.

Paul Pierce is definitely an all-time great Hall Of Famer. If Brooklyn pulls off a title this season, he'll be even more highly esteemed. He is definitely one of the more underrated players ever. For a guy who went #10 in the draft and was not expected to be as good as Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady or Dirk Nowitzki, he has surpassed all of them in my mind. Its just hard to argue against players with multiple rings at small forward. Bird has 3, Lebron has 2 (so far), Pippen has 6 (the only reason he's ahead of Truth), Dr. J has the one NBA ring but he has an mvp and won titles in the ABA. Havlicek = (8) eight rings. Word.

MJ, Magic, Bird, Bryant, Kareem, Russell, Maravich, Durant, LBJ, Miller are the only 10 allowed on the court unless you want to swap out Durant with Havelachek or West for a pick up game.

Pierce can be a first option guy, Pippen not so much. Pippen was a sidekick and was a much better defender.

But Pippen wouldn't be Pippen w/o MJ.

I would probably take Pierce over Pippen pick-up, bc he is guy if he gets on he is pretty unstoppable no matter who is guarding, can't say the same for Pippen.

LeBron beat two (2) 41-win teams and an aging / past their prime Pistons to get to the Finals... if he was playing in the 80's or 90's with those 07 Cavs, LeBron gets waxed in the first round.

Hell, if those cavs were in the west in 07, they wouldve got waxed in the first round.

Btw... Later in Pippen's career and early in Pierce's career they matched up 8 games. Pierce torched him: 23.6 pts/game 4 assists 5 rebounds 2.5 steals.
