I know that. My point was that their offense could compete with SEC defenses because they did. Even the LSU fans i know were impressed by their offense. I wasn't saying WVU was as good as LSU last year, just saying their offense was competitive with the 2nd best defense in the SEC.

They were probably one of the top three offenses in he country (with oregon and okie lite being the others), so what does that prove?

One of the top offenses can move the ball? Sure. They didn't put up the points they usually do, that's all i'm saying. Our defense held them in that respect

The top 2 SEC teams are the best in the country I completely agree but to say the SEC as a whole plays great defense and other teams can't compete is stupidity coming out. No team in the SEC has a great defense outside of LSU and Bama. Every year 1 or 2 teams in the SEC is top in the country. Best teams no doubt. But the SEC as a whole do not have great defenses and are not among the best in the country as they are seen.

Ok so the points are the only thing that matter? Well Florida almost got beat by Bowling Green and VT beat them 37-0 today....so does that mean VT is by far better than Florida? No it doesn't. When critiquing an offense/defense you use more than the scoreboard to do it. Just like you use more than one game.
