Why would we care about a BCS bowl? We won the SEC East and Cotton Bowl, one of the most historically significant bowls. Also by beating an old Big 8 rival we have permanently divorced ourselves from them and stepped into the SEC brotherhood. That's what we care about, you obviously don't know much about the town of Columbia.

I believe T. Austin had 572 all purpose yds against Oklahoma. Aj Green is still putting up college stats in the NFL. Watkins is good just don't think i would say he's better then AJ yet. if scouts think he's 85% as good as Green he would be the #1 pick hands down in this draft.

I watched Clemson on offense and some Mizzou, but the first half I watched both. 2nd half the orange bowl was good, cotton bowl was slow.


AJ green was drafted 4th, Julio 5th. ATL gave up the farm for that pick. Sammy could go anywhere in the top 6-7, he's the best WR in the draft. And he's faster than AJ and has more jukes. Sammy is shifty. Go back and watch the game.

So you watched the game and didn't notice the bad pass protection or all the drops? No, Franklin wasn't great, but he was no more at fault then the WR's who got no separation and dropped balls or the O-Line that allowed him to be pressured the whole game.

I have gone bac and watched much of the game. Shocker here, he didn't do anything I didn't already know he was capable of. He has good footwork, decent size and excellent speed. I like his hands and he's good in space. What about this surprised you last night? He think he's a really good WR that in this years draft absolutely will not go before #5.

Lots of people hate Franklin so I defend him, probably over sensitively so but he the nicest guy I know and a good Qb and I get really sick of it.

And my point was that I'm a Missouri kid and go to Mizzou and my views of where Sammy Watkins goes in the draft are in no way evidence of my feeling about Mizzou's bowl selection.

Guys!!! I've been out all day watching the pro games. Let's get back on track. We know this - Sammy Watkins will be drafted very high in this year's draft. It definitely helps us that Bridgewater, Manziel, Bortles, Hundley (maybe) will be in demand along with Matthews and Clowney.

I just don't want Houston getting Cleveland's two number 1's and still getting Manziel at #4. I hope they stay at #1 and take Manziel. It won't be the end of the world if they take Bridgewater, but we might not get the same package at #2 (if we decide to trade down) if that happens.

Sammy Watkins is special. I'm a converted Mathews backer. SJ is right.
