If Morris made that wide open catch on the opening drive.

If the the ref recognized the defender was engaged in a block and therefor touching the football made it a live ball.

If the motion penalty error on a successful punt didn't happen. The replay which led to 7 points and a huge swing of momentum.

Or if Fred Davis was apart of the plan. He finished the game with ZERO yards.

Lots of missed opportunities left out on the field last night.

Krush, every losing team could do this. The bottom line is good teams execute on their opportunities. Right now, we don't. We played a team last night that isn't that good, but they didn't need to be. They played it safe and passive and let us beat ourselves.

There should be hope after last night though. Our defense played well. Our offense moved the ball and sustained drives. RG3 looked like an inaccurate RG3 but at least it looked like RG3.

We didn't make big plays and the officials worked against us. We got our asses kicked on STs.

There's very little reason to have hope for this season. What there IS hope for is improving our young guys play and assessing what needs and areas that should be addressed for next year.

Waste of effort IMO to play the woulda, shoulda, coulda game. Good teams execute. We didn't. Who cares why outside of looking for how to improve the team?

This Division is in shambles.
Look at Dallas. They look great on paper and yet still are consistently an inconsistent team. Same could be said for the Eagles inability in the past decade to get the win in the SB even while dominating the division for awhile. Giants are the only team in the division that can equate "looks great on paper, performs well on the field"...and look at them this year.

While I remain optimistic about the future with Griff, it ain't happening THIS year.
