Damn, I missed it. When were you on?

530-6ish today. You've read the rant before....QS is a decent stat; QS% is a very useful metric. I also talked a little bit about PQS. Tommy agreed that I had a good point about the relative infrequency of the 6IP/3ER start.
I likened it to dismissing HRs as a power stat b/c it includes inside the parkers.
Not the best analogy, but it got my point across.
I must have tuned in right after you were on, because the discussion was still quality starts, but the only call I heard was someone suggesting renaming the stat to a "decent start," an idea which Tom liked. Then Tom went off on the hold stat - I switched over to 95.7 at that point.
I heard too late as well I think. May have been just after the call. I was driving home at 5:50pm and heard Tom muttering something about how he still doesn't like the term "Quality Start". How funny.
BTW Cal, did he sound like a 5'3", pimply faced geek?
Homeboy doubles in a run, ties it up 1-1. 2nd and 3rd no outs. Go Brew Crew.

Matt Kemp just hit his 7th HR. Dayum.
Dodgers = good, I'm afraid.
Still WAY too early.
They are essentially a 3-person team. They have played SD 7 times and Pit 3 times. If they were NOT 9-1 during that stretch, they should have simply folded the org...
Since that run, they are 0-2 against the Crew...
Now batting for Milwaukee vs the Dogs with 2 on no out...Travis Ishikawa
Get 'em son!
He's up again, 1st and 2nd, this time 2 outs...
I just saw the box score of tonight's Fresno game, and noticed that Todd Linden is back with the Giants. How did I miss that earlier?
