nope bedard is more of a bp arm these days . if any it will be joe again and i will hate that . they took tilly who was our best pitcher and didn't even pitch him .
oh really does nate have a over .400 obp ? hoes is a pure hitter and the o's are stupid to give it up for a 3 pitcher along with others .I could live with giving up Hoes who's a 4th OF at best, along with Hammel and Davies that's not a bad package.
If its not Norris off the Astros then forget it. Maybe they'll take back Hammel with Hoes, Davies and something else, since his contract expires anyways.
I don't want Bedard (Norris either), but I'm just speculating on the rumors.
Rumored:
- Duquette is looking for a lefthanded starter
- O's scouts have been following the Astros
- Norris is not lefthanded
BTW - Since Rodriguez was added and Valencia was sent to Norfolk, the O's bench has been short-handed and the bullpen overcrowded. The O's will probably add a righthanded bat soon. Could it be Hoes? Possibly Liddi?
