Update - - - he committed as an athlete/WR, not as a QB.

Commence panicking once again.

I heard he is going to play WR. I mentioned this last week that OSU would love to get out of that offer. Kid is a sick athlete, but his senior season was a disappiontment.

This.

Following recruits is masochistic.

I don't give a fuck about them til they are starters.
Liar liar pants on fire. You get sucked into the recruiting stuff just like the rest of us.

I heard that he wanted to come to OSU as a WR but OSU told him a polite 'no thanks'.

I'm more surprised he didn't do it sooner. The decline started pretty early this season. :noidea:

If you're gonna :fish2: you should make the bait a little less obvious. You'll catch more OD reaction that way.

I don't think it's trolling if it's true.

He was already committed as a QB to OSU, so I am not sure how polite that conversation would have been.

Who was the 5* offensive lineman that Minny desperately tried to hold on to a few years back that went to USC because his daddy was a rapper, then flopped and ended up in Miami?

Seantrel Henderson. He wound up at Miami and played 4 underwhelming seasons and is now a backup in Buffalo.

This is correct. He had been wavering lately on whether or not he wanted to play QB at the collegiate level, which is why OSU has been talking to so many QBs over the past couple of weeks. This decommit is a long time in the making. We have WRs for days so no big deal here. Looking for Haskins to make the flip, and according to 247sports.com, Kyle Allen has "serious interest" in OSU.

Ahh yes, I remember him now. He was a big swinging D coming out of high school. I remember Ohio State wanted him too. Glad he never came to columbus.

Absolutely. The kid himself seemed to be OK but his father was a pain in the ass.

It's good to see Minnesota finally get 4 star QB Seth Green. He is a Minnesota native and moved to Texas last year apparently to be with his father. But all his friends and the majority of his family are still in the Minneapolis area.

Also, Minnesota's previous 2016 QB commit, Gatorade's 2015 Michigan high school player of the year, Tony Poljan out of Lansing Catholic decommitted from Minnesota two weeks ago when Tracy Claeys fired both the Golden Gophers OC and QB coach.

Tony Poljan is a superb athlete, but at 6'7" & 235lbs, he is being recruited either as a TE or DE (as well as a basketball player too). But... Poljan wants to play QB in college, and thus has not received a lot of offers. It looks like Nebraska might give him a shot at QB, so I think Poljan will eventually commit to the Cornhuskers... however, it looks like TE is the position for him... even with Nebraska.
Tony Poljan, Lansing Catholic , Dual-Threat Quarterback

Nebraska offered Poljan a day after he decommitted from Minnesota.
Recruiting: Nebraska pursues top Michigan athlete Tony Poljan
